Poor Venue Choice
Unfortunately, my friends and I were disappointed to watch The Wailin' Jennys play in our town. We were far from the last car as well, so I imagine the people behind us missed even more. All 4 of us left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed that we effectively missed the game. By the time we found parking and reached our seats, it was stoppage time in the first half and all 3 US goals had already been scored directly in front of our empty seats. Three friends and myself were excited to watch Mapfre Stadium only allowed 2 cars to enter their parking lot at a time, so we sat in a line outside the stadium for at least an hour. Mapfre seemed completely inept to run an event of this magnitude. There was lack of direction, personnel and urgency. I would not recommend this venue.
